The Eagle & The Hare: 

Part one of our 2023 series inspired by the Cairngorm National Park, where we are based.

The Eagle & The Hare is inspired by the Cairngorm Mountain Railway. Scotland’s only funicular railway, and the highest in the UK, the railway closed in 2018 due to structural problems. To celebrate it’s reopening on 26th January 2023, The Eagle & The Hare takes its name and colours from the two carriages operating on the railway.

Colour Notes: A cool wash of thistle purple (the eagle) and soft turquoise (the hare) create a subtle icy blend.
